4yo SSH Mare - Savannah - $5,500
Savannah is a lovely grulla tobiano Spotted Saddle Horse (SSHBEA) mare. She is 4 years old and 14.2HH. Savannah is smart and sensitive and tries hard to please. Savannah bonds very strongly to her rider and will do anything for her "person."

2.5yo Mare : Ivy - $25,000
**Novice safe trail mare**
Sure Luck's Spotted Ivy is a beautiful black and white tobiano filly born in the summer of 2016. She is registered MFTHBA. Both of Ivy's parents are 15.2HH and stocky so this girl will be nice and big when she is done maturing! She is already 14.3HH at 2.5 years old. Ivy is halter broke, ties quietly, is good for the farrier, ponies off of an ATV, and can be easily caught on 300+ acres. Her dam is a novice safe trail horse and Ivy is turning out just like her! Ivy bonds very strongly with her "person". Once she bonds with you she will let you do anything with her. She has a very willing personality - she is never disrespectful and never shows any attitude.
Ivy is broke to ride and does great out on the trails! She is not spooky even around our exotic hoofstock including deer, antelope, zebras, and wildebeest plus cattle, goats, and dogs. She is the same ride every time, no warm up needed! Just hop on and go! Her favorite speed on the trail is a nice, calm walk. She is definitely more on the lazy side. She does also have a lovely, smooth flat walk and running walk. Ivy neck reins, moves off of leg pressure and will open and close gates. She is also trained to sidepass over to the mounting block or other objects to make mounting easier.
Ivy is also a valuable addition to any breeding program. Ivy is homozygous for BOTH tobiano and black! That means that if she were bred in the future she would produce 100% tobiano foals and would never produce a chestnut based foal no matter what stallion she is bred to. She has not been tested but is also highly likely homozygous for the gait-keeper gene.

This is the full length version of one of my favorite videos Francine Dismukes, a gifted trainer, made for Cory and I when she trained him to lie down to help me get on. As my injury progressed - it became more difficult to mount and ride - it never ceases to amaze my how kind and intuitive horses can be.

Sure Luck's Smokey Bandit is a pretty, stocky smokey black colt born on May 23, 2018. He is a registered Missouri Foxtrotter. His sire, FRD Pure Luck's Sure Luck, is homozygous tobiano which means this colt is indeed a minimal white tobiano AKA a "slipped" tobiano. He should mature to 15-15.2HH and be nice and stocky. He can be left intact as a stallion prospect if desired. He has been weaned, is trained to lead, tie, load on a trailer, and handle his feet. He looks very much like his Sire at this age so I posted footage of his sire in the video below and many of his siblings. Once he is trained to ride at 2 and a half - his price will be 9,500 - so buy him young, have fun with him and bond for a couple of years - then bring him back for a few months of training and save half!

He would make an excellent stud prospect and will be kept intact for now. This lovely guy has a sweet, teddy bear disposition and is always curious to see what people are up to. He has been weaned, is trained to lead, tie, load on a trailer, and handle his feet.
FRD Pure Luck's Sure Luck "Tucker" - Standing AT STUD
Our homozygous for tobiano and black MFTHBA & SSHBEA Stallion. He is also tested positive for the AA gait gene - which means he carries 2 copies of the gait gene - the strongest a horse can have to potentially throw gait. There is more information on his page about the gait gene and why you should have any stallion you are considering breeding to checked for this if you want a gaited foal. He produces very large foals and they are always spotted as he is tested homozygous for the tobiano gene and the black gene as well, so he will not throw a red gene even out of a chestnut mare. He has thrown two 16.3 hand horses out of 15 hand mares - ANY get, whether the mare is registered or un-registered, that Tucker sires, will be register-able as a Pinto (if not gaited) and both a Pinto and SSHBEA (if gaited). Larger mares only, no ponies, as Tucker tends to throw VERY leggy foals - most foals are 14 hands at 1 year old. Breeding fee for live cover is $1,250 which includes 3 weeks of mare care - live foal guarantee if bred to a mare that has been checked reproductively sound by a veterinarian. See Tucker's full page with additional pictures and video here: http://www.txmft.com/stallion-page.html

One of my favorite videos of Leo and Pride -
It is our mission to breed the perfect horse...
one that a child or amateur rider can win on at show jumping or any versatility event, take on a nice slow trail ride, compete at endurance when you want to go fast - and at the end of the day - give your child a lesson on him. In order to accomplish this - we breed only the best to the best. We have a fanstastic stallion with color, a kind disposition, and great conformation - that we breed to Top 10 in the World or better champion mares - to create the best of the best. You won't find any broodmares here. Dr. Alexandra Cooper says of Leo, Pride, Princess, JAKS & Ms. T - "These are the perfect horses for children to jump - they are effortless to ride, they stop and turn on a dime and they take care of their rider. They are not so huge as to be intimidating, they are willing, kind and a pleasure to jump - and we win consistently at the USEF and Open Jumping shows. I firmly believe that these Foxtrotters, Spotted Saddle Horses and Pintos will be the future of the jumping horse. For us moms that want their child to have a safe jumping horse that can grow with you even up to open jumping – these are the horses for you. The best part being that you can ride them too – they are safe for any rider - that is their greatest gift – their kind temperament and desire to take care of you. "
Happy to show, own, train and ride eight horses that collectively hold 24 World Championships, 37 Reserve World Championships & 190 Top 10's in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014 in 3 breed associations - SSHBEA, MFTHBA and Pinto PtHA - one of our former stallions "Leo" was featured on the news as he has won a World Championship in all three of his breed associations. He is the first horse in history to accomplish this. President's Sundust Princess is the 2nd and she is for sale.
