Welcome to our shuffling appaloosas page! We are excited to be expanding our program to include these amazing horses. Who doesn't love spots and smooth gaits?! Gaited bloodlines can be found in the original foundation bred Appaloosa horses. There are very few breeders still continuing these bloodlines and we are thrilled to be contributing to the continuation of full registered ApHC horses that can gait! FVF Matt Dillon is an amazing 7yo bay fewspot, foundation bred Appaloosa stallion. He is a guaranteed color producer AND he carries a copy of the gait gene (DMRT3)! Full color genetics EE Aa LP/LP PATN1/n DMRT3/n. Matt Dillon stands 15HH with a great build, pretty head, and a nice mane and tail! He is also 6 panel negative for genetic diseases.
Matt is trained to ride and is a lovely, easy trail stallion! He has a great 4 beat gait that is fun to ride. He is very good natured and easy to work with and throws his lovely disposition to his foals!
He will produce leopards and varnish roan appaloosas when bred to solid colored mares. Matt Dillon is an ideal stallion to breed gaited mares to for well gaited Walkaloosa foals with guaranteed color!
