We DO NOT take problem horses. Minimum of 2 months for colt starts or restarts. For tune-ups or exposure training, we will want to see the owner ride when you bring them to evaluate the horse's level of training before we will take them. |
Trick TrainingAdd some tricks to your horses skills! We can teach your horse to park out, lie down on command, bow, or move over to mount.
Tricks can be added on while your horse is in riding training for $200 per month per trick. GAIT EVALUATION For an hour long gait evaluation with Katie Morton the cost is $200. She can give you ideas to get and keep the gaits you like and tell you which gaits your horse can perform with some training or tips. |
Weanling, Yearling, Groundwork only training - $1,250/monthWe can take weanlings, yearlings, or older horses for groundwork only training. All groundwork will be age appropriate and depending on the horse's age and skill level could include - halter breaking, tying, handling feet, lunging, desensitizing, saddling, bridling, ground driving, ponying, obstacles, etc.

About Us
We have hold 24 World Championships, 61 Reserve World Championships & 431 Top 10's in 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2013 in 3 breed associations - SSHBEA, MFTHBA and Pinto PtHA - one of our stallions "Leo" was featured on the news as he has won a World Championship in all three of his breed associations. He is the first horse in history to accomplish this - one of our mares "Princess" is the second to have this honor. We teach trail riding, trail class, barrel racing, pole bending, jumping, lying down to mount and the list goes on and on...just ask us if we can do it...

Trainer Katie MortonOur head trainer Katie McCauley has been working with horses for over 20 years. She has experience with all breeds and specializes in gaited horses. She has ridden and competed in trail, trail obstacle, reining, jumping, dressage, team penning, shotgunning, sorting, barrel racing, and pole bending. Katie graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Equine Industry & Business.
